2017 Wish for You

magic is something u make.jpg

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.

. . . I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you’ll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.

Make your mistakes, next year and forever.

On Accomplishment

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

You Are Powerful

tiger in the water

Reclaim your power. Get serious and chart a new course for yourself. You know that it’s time to make a major shift in your life. Stop putting it off. Do it now. Follow your heart. Build a vision of a life that you love!! See yourself enjoying your life and making a difference. Create a circle of friends who bring value and access to new ideas, resources and people. Live life in service to your higher self. Your future is bright and in your hands.

Do YOU! You owe it to yourself to become positively selfish. You don’t need any other persons’ approval to pursue your dreams. Approve of yourself. Don’t allow your dream to expire. Act on your ideas and make your mark!!! You have something special. You have GREATNESS within you!

Let Go of Mediocrity

the-magic-art-of-letting-go

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don’t help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don’t increase you will eventually decrease you.
